Lisé Currie is a San Francisco based artist working in print and sculpture. Her work takes advantage of the repeatable, spontaneous, and tactile qualities of printmaking and the ritualistic qualities of making/craft to explore ideas concerning corporeality, domestication of space, and giving our experience of both the world and our sense of time a human-scale. She has a dual undergraduate degree in Art and Biology and received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She currently runs the Sheet Anchor Star Press in San Francisco in addition to her practice.
